Why Lantern Lighters?

Unlike lamps, which tend to be stationary, lanterns can move with us, indoors and out. Lanterns can be passed from one person to the next or left on hooks to light a path. Throughout history, women have lit the way for others, either with full intention or simply by showing up as who and how they are.
